JOY ANNE LANDRY

1927-2024

This world has lost a beautiful kind soul and

amazing lady.  Joy Anne Landry passed away on

November 28, 2024.  Born on December 24, 1927.

Joy will be remembered with love by her six children

Kathryn (Patrick), Joni (Perry), Jim, Patricia (Carlo)

Mike (Crista), Christine (Alain).  Her sister Barbara

and her brother Robert.  Her many grandchildren,

great grandchildren, neices and nephews.

She spent many years as a secretary at the

Elliot Lake High School until she retired where

she was appreciated and loved by the staff and

students alike.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and

playing games like Bean Bag Baseball at the

Renaissance Centre, Shuffleboard at the Legion,

Enjoying her friends singing Karaoke at the Mason Lodge.

She loved hosting family and friends at the cottage

Also known as The Gathering Place, on beautiful

Bass Lake (aka Thurston Lake) in Blind River.

She was a joy to everyone who knew her and a joy

to the world.

She will be sadly missed by all.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the Laurent Hill Funeral Home

on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 12 to 1 pm.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1 pm, followed by a reception.
