It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Robert John Smolders, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 67. Beloved father of Blain Smolders and Rhonda Lauton (David). Adored grandfather of Robyn and Lexi “Kaylyn”. Former husband of Marianne Smolders. Loving brother of Sarah Mass (Gord) and Peter Smolders (Wenda). Dear uncle of Simone (Graham), Shawn (Manuela), Jessica, Ashley and Leah. Robert will be missed by many cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Diane (née Colson) Smolders.
