Obituary of Marie-Jeanne Dagenais

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Mme. Marie-Jeanne Dagenais (née Marion), décédée le 8 août 2024, à l'âge de 90 ans.

Épouse bien aimé de feu Auclair Dagenais.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Carole Dagenais (Glenn Tremblay), Lynn Dagenais (belle-fille), Lisette Dagenais, Suzie Dagenais et Daniel Dagenais, ses petits-enfants; Andree-Anne, Marie-France, Carole-Lyne, Aimelie, Renaud, Julie, Nathalie, Yanick, Veronick, Marie-Michele, Emily et Abbey, ses nombreux arrière-petits-enfants, son frère; Ernest Marion (Lyse), ainsi que plusieurs cousin(e)s, nièces, neveux, ami(e)s et membres de famille.

Prédécédée par ses parents Fernand et Annie (née Ouellette) Marion, ainsi par son fils; Denis Dagenais (Lucie Lamoureux) et par son frère; Réjean Marion (feu Jeannine).

Une cérémonie religieuse sera célébrée à l’Église Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila – Marionville, samedi le 24 août 2024 à 11h00.

Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à l’Institut de cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa.

 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marie-Jeanne Dagenais (née Marion), who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 90.

Loving wife of the late Auclair Dagenais.

Beloved mother of Carole Dagenais (Glenn Tremblay), Lynn Dagenais (daughter-in-law), Lisette Dagenais, Suzie Dagenais and Daniel Dagenais. Grandmother of Andree-Anne, Marie-France, Carole-Lyne, Aimélie, Renaud, Julie, Nathalie, Yanick, Véronick, Marie-Michèle, Emily, and Abbey, great-grandmother of many, and sister of Ernest Marion (Lyse).

Marie-Jeanne will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Fernand and Annie (née Ouellette) Marion. Also predeceased by her son Denis Dagenais (Lucie Lamoureux) and by her brother Réjean Marion (late Jeannine).

A religious ceremony will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila Church – Marionville, Saturday August 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. 

Donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
