Obituary of Paulette Marjolaine Lavictoire

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Mme. Paulette Marjolaine Lavictoire (née Brunet), décédée le 31 juillet 2024, à l'âge de 80 ans.

Elle était l'épouse bien-aimé de feu Gérald Lavictoire et feu Laurial Clément.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses fils; Daniel Lavictoire (Marie Simard) et Marc Lavictoire (Sophie Doré), ses belles-filles Francine Clément (Denis Charron) et Sandra Clément (Eric St-Jean), ses petits-enfants; Nicolas, Francesca, Gabriel, Élianne, Philippe, Félix et Daphné, ses 3 arrière-petits-enfants, ses sœurs; Marie-Paule (feu Roch Lafrance) et Ginette (feu Jean-Marie Séguin), ses frères; Ghislain (Hélène Bruyère) et Charles, ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux, membres de famille et ami(e)s.

Prédécédée par ses parents Marcel et Clarinthe (née Carrière) Brunet, ainsi que par sa sœur; Jacynthe (Robert Séguin), et par ses frères; Paulin (Noëlla Langevin) et Roger.  

La famille tient a remercié Dr. Jacques Brunet pour ces soins de plus de 40 ans, le personnel de l’hôpital générale d’Ottawa et de la résidence Villa St-Albert, pour leurs soins et bienveillance.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rencontrer au Salon Funéraires Laurent Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun, ON, le samedi 10 août 2024, de 9h à 11h. Une cérémonie religieuse sera célébrée dans la Chapelle à 11h. Suivi par l’inhumation au cimetière St-Jacques d’Embrun.

Un don à la Société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié par la famille.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Paulette Marjolaine Lavictoire (née Brunet), who died on July 31, 2024, at the age of 80.

Beloved wife of the late Gérald Lavictoire and the late Laurial Clément.

Loving mother of Daniel Lavictoire (Marie Simard) and Marc Lavictoire (Sophie Doré), stepdaughters Francine Clément (Denis Charron) and Sandra Clément (Eric St-Jean).

Cherished grandmother of Nicolas, Francesca, Gabriel, Élianne, Philippe, Félix and Daphné.

Adored great-grandmother of 3 great-grandchildren.

Dear sister of Marie-Paule (late Roch Lafrance), Ginette (late Jean-Marie Séguin), Ghislain (Hélène Bruyère) and Charles.

Paulette will be missed by several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Marcel and Clarinthe (née Carrière) Brunet, as well as by her sister; Jacynthe (Robert Séguin), and by her brothers; Paulin (Noëlla Langevin) and Roger. 

The family would like to thank Dr Jacques Brunet for his care for over 40 years, the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital and Villa St-Albert, for their care and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, ON, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A religious ceremony will be celebrated in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Followed by interment at St-Jacques Cemetery in Embrun.

A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
