Obituary of Wayne Marcel Tremblay

Wayne Marcel Tremblay, born 16 May 1945, passed away at his home in Embrun, Ontario on 14 December 2021. Wayne is survived by his wonderful wife Bernice with whom he was married to for 52 years; his two sons Dean and Yvan (Regina), and his precious granddaughter Emilie. Always thankful for God’s blessing, he would spontaneously and anonymously share with those less fortunate. Wayne was exceedingly proud of his roots, culture, country, his service with the Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Coast Guard. He was committed to lifelong learning and was proud of self-authoring two books over the past ten years. He loved to share, often at length, many “tidbits” of knowledge about history even if you may not have asked a question. Donations would be appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society. Family and friends are asked to meet at Salons Funéraires Lamarche & Hill Funeral Homes, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, ON, (613) 443-3286 on Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, from 1:40 p.m. until time of Service. A Memorial Service will be Celebrated in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. All guests must wear a mask or face covering and provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and identification prior to entering the Funeral Home.
