My name is Rodney. I met Kyra through Kijiji in early August.
I needed help in my garden due to back injury in auto accident lost time at physio, chiro , doctors and August 3 my mother passed away,she was almost 93, it wasn't a surprise I saw her the night before
Kyra was a great help to me she weeded and transplanted and watered in my garden.she seemed like such a little go-getter working for skip the dishes,waitressing and coming and getting her hands dirty in my garden.She boosted my spirits with her appearance here.Kyra got a. NEw job at a golf course I saw her less I praised her when she showed up and questioned why she was coming here still getting dirty hands (eventually she would wear gloves ) I teased her asking if she was paying alimony to someone.No insurance bill! She replied.
I wanted to let you know my thoughts are with and for you.
I was in complete disbelief and shock to see her in the paper.It took hours to sink in, I screamed in my mind NO many times in disbelief. It brings tears too my eyes now to tell you what a shock this is for me some reason
Would you understand this is more shocking than my mother passing, and I only knew her for a few weeks . I keep saying NO in disbelief
I have texts we exchanged if someone wanted to read them
I also have veggies in my garden that Kyra cared for or transplanted and was hoping to offer some to you that perhaps a special meal could be made in memory of Kyra or if you wish to come see the lettuce she transplanted or I could also send a photo

Please don't call on Tuesday or Thursday as those are my produce delivery days and being a senior it would interrupt my thought frames

Like many others I shake my head in disbelief and say no this shouldn't be so

I also owe her a couple of hours pay she didn't come on the Monday the fourth or retext to say she wasn't coming
