It was not until today, that I found out Pat had passed away. I was a first cousin pf Pat's and was born in Brockville. My parents were Bryce and Inda Giffin and they rad a grocery store in Brockville for years. Pat's only other cousin is Doris Giffin and she still lives in Brockville. My wife Betty and I moved from Brockville to Ottawa in 1966 where we still reside.
I am so sorry that I did not know of her passing and was not there to attend her celebration of life. Please know that she has been in my prayers all these many years.
I was saddened to hear that your mother passed away Meaghan. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was privileged to have known Patricia at Jude's. I truly appreciated her inclusive and friendly nature. Just remember 'All that we love deeply becomes a part of us'.
Rest in peace Pat,I met Pat when she was at Fairbain House working with youth who had been in conflict with the law.She was a very caring person who never give up on any of the youth she worked with.She made a difference in the lives of many and she will always be remembered for the compassionate person she was .God Bless.
Micheal, Eric and Meaghan, please accept our sincere condolences. We are so sad that we will not be able to attend the celebration of Pat's life Saturday because we are out of the country. We will make an effort to see each of you once we are back in Canada in April.
Meaghan, Eric, Michael and family members: Our deepest sympathies for your lost. Pat, my neighbour and my friend in Limoges gave a lot of herself and she was loved by us. So deeply sorry for your loss. It was a privelege getting to know Pat as she volunteered at our school. What a wise, wonderful woman she was and how helpful and kind too with the children. Heaven has another sweet angel.
