Grandma, you were such a big part of my younger years growing up. Your home was my second home and you made me feel like I was part of your family. I will always remember the first time to made me fried bologna (my fave to this day), or the metal cup you kept by the sink for us kids to grab some water from the tap, or the cookie jar you kept in the cupboard for us to pick out our favourite cookie as a snack after school. I even remember the Tupperware ice cream container you would transfer the ice cream bricks into. Your home is where I learned to dip my peanut butter toast into the chocolate milk (I still do this) and taught myself how to play jingle bells on the organ in your living room. You were kind, loving, and a wonderful woman. Family was so important to you and even from a young age, I could tell that your husband, children, in-laws, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and even the kids you babysat were the #1 thing in your life.
