Chère famille Amyotte,
I am lucky to have been in Madeleine's life for a short time when I was a young girl.
Quick to give encouragement and a funny story, Madeleine was always known to me as a stylish lady and loving mom.
And I even remember her understanding that us girls just HAD to borrow Francis's Mustang on one of our "urgent" errands. She just knew that we had to drive up and down Notre-Dame Street to be seen.
Danielle has inherited that style and loving way and I marvel at how the best of Madeleine is in Danielle's being.
M. Amyotte, may you know that your Madeleine is now with you every second... in your heart and on your shoulder... guiding you and loving you.
Dan, you are now the "grande" stylish "dame" that your mom taught and guided you to be. You wear her traits with flare and kindness of heart.
Now the girls have the chance to carry on Madeleine's essence as well.
So although this can be viewed as sad and we will all miss Madeleine's easy wit and style, she remains in all our hearts forever.
Many hugs to all of the family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
