Obituary of Marie-Paule Reine Dignard

 

 

Marie-Paule Dignard (née Labelle), est décédée paisiblement le 19 septembre 2026.

Fille de feu Roméo et feu Alice (née Plante) Labelle, elle était la tendre épouse de feu Raymond Dignard et la mère dévouée et exemplaire de feu Manon (Alain Leroux) et de Stéphanie (Steve Wells).

Grand-maman aimante et adorée de Byanka Leroux (Jean-Claude Provost), Danyk Leroux (Vénicia Hamel), Ryan Wells (Jasmine Leclerc), Shawn Wells (Émilie Lemieux), Kyle Wells ainsi que Brendan Leclair (Emma Huff); elle était également la fière arrière-grand-maman de Thomas Leclair et de Léonie Leclerc-Wells.

Elle laisse également dans le deuil son compagnon de vie, Rémy Bourdon; une amie très chère qu’elle considérait comme une fille, France Lang; ses sœurs, Denise (Jacques Rainville), Françoise (feu Léo Brisson) et Lorraine (Gaston Racine); son frère, Jacques (feu Denise Laflèche); ainsi que ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, feu Réjean (Hélène Normand), feu Jean-Pierre (feu Jeanine Beauvais), feu Bernard (Huguette Lamarche), feu Micheline (feu Robert Dupuis), André (Yolaine Charron) et Benoît (Linda St-Jean). Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs nièces, neveux, et amis qui lui étaient chers.

La famille tient à exprimer sa profonde reconnaissance au personnel du 6e étage ouest de L’Hôpital d’Ottawa, campus Général, ainsi qu’au Dr Pranger, pour leur dévouement, leur bienveillance et les excellents soins prodigués à Marie-Paule.

 

Une célébration de sa vie, dans l’intimité familiale, aura lieu à une date ultérieure.

 

Son amour inconditionnel, sa force remarquable et son profond dévouement envers sa famille resteront à jamais gravés dans nos cœurs.

Marie-Paule Dignard (née Labelle) passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026.

Daughter of the late Roméo and the late Alice (née Plante) Labelle, she was the loving wife of the late Raymond Dignard and the devoted, exemplary mother of the late Manon (Alain Leroux) and of Stéphanie (Steve Wells).

A loving and adored grandmother to Byanka Leroux (Jean-Claude Provost), Danyk Leroux (Vénicia Hamel), Ryan Wells (Jasmine Leclerc), Shawn Wells (Émilie Lemieux), Kyle Wells, and Brendan Leclair (Emma Huff); she was also the proud great-grandmother of Thomas Leclair and Léonie Leclerc-Wells.

She is also survived by her life partner, Rémy Bourdon; a dear friend whom she considered a daughter, France Lang; her sisters, Denise (Jacques Rainville), Françoise (late Léo Brisson), and Lorraine (Gaston Racine); her brother, Jacques (late Denise Laflèche); as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, the late Réjean (Hélène Normand), the late Jean-Pierre (late Jeanine Beauvais), the late Bernard (Huguette Lamarche), the late Micheline (late Robert Dupuis), André (Yolaine Charron), and Benoît (Linda St-Jean). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who were dear to her.

The family wishes to express its deep gratitude to the staff of the 6th Floor West at The Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, as well as to Dr. Pranger, for their dedication, kindness, and the excellent care provided to Marie-Paule.

 

A celebration of her life, held privately with family, will take place at a later date.

 

Her unconditional love, remarkable strength, and deep devotion to her family will remain forever etched in our hearts. At the family's request, expressions of sympathy may be made through a donation to ovarian cancer research, rather than by sending flowers.
