C`est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Florence (Pichtou) Hébert, décédée le 26 février 2026 deux jours après sa fête de 83 ans.  Elle laisse dans le deuil ses trois soeurs: Marguerite Sabourin (feu André), Lisette Clément (Laurier), Suzanne Clément (Carman); ses neveux et ses nièces: Robert (Cindy), Ginette, Sylvain, Pierre (Josiane), Danika (Rob) et ses petites nièces Emma et Leah.  Elle laisse également plusieurs cousins et cousines; ainsi que plusieurs ami (es).  Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Laurent Hébert et Irène Hébert (née Leduc); par son frère (Bucko); et par un frère prédécédé à naissance.

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa grande famille du Foyer St Viateur ou elle a demeuré 22 ans.  Un merci spécial aux infirmières et aux préposées pour les bons soins.  Un merci spécial au Dr Brunet d`être à l`écoute.  Un merci spécial à Bibi et à la famille Brisson pour apporter de la joie dans sa vie, elle vous aimait beaucoup.  Elle est partie rejoindre sa grande amie Andrée; d`ailleurs une mention spéciale à la famille Lemieux, Robinson.

L`incinération a eu lieu et un service privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Fondation Océane Roy par e-transfert au fondationoceaneroy@gmail.com ou en personne à la Caisse Desjardins Ontario à Embrun.  Cette fondation nous tient à coeur parce qu`Océane, tout comme Florence, vit avec la paralysie cérébrale.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence (Pichtou) Hébert, who passed away on February 26, 2026, two days after celebrating her 83^rd birthday.  She leaves to mourn her three sisters: Marguerite Sabourin (late André), Lisettte Clément (Laurier), and Suzanne Clément (Carman).   She also leaves behind her nephews and nieces: Robert (Cindy), Ginette, Sylvain, Pierre (Josiane), Danika (Rob), as well as her great-nieces Emma and Leah.  She will also be sadly missed by several cousins and many friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, Laurent Hébert and Irène Hébert (née Leduc); her brother Maurice (Bucko), and infant brother who passed away at birth.

Florence also leaves behind her extended family at Foyer St-Viateur, where she lived for 22 years.  We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses and personal support workers for the excellent care they provided.  A special thank you to Dr. Brunet for his attentiveness and compassion.  A heartfelt thank you to Bibi and the Brisson family for bringing so much joy into her life; she loved you very much.  She has now gone to join her dear friend Andrée; a special mention also to the Lemieux-Robinson family.

Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Expression of sympathy may be made through a donation to the Océane Roy Foundation by e-transfer at: fondationoceaneroy@gmail.com or in person at the Desjardins Ontario Credit Union in Embrun.  This foundation is especially meaningful to us, because Océane like Florence is living with cerebral palsy.
