It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Maria Cecilia Viegas (née Rocha), who passed on February 7, 2026, at the age of 90.

Loving mother of Carlos Viegas (Lana) and Nelson Viegas (Evangeline).

Cherished grandmother of Kyla (Antonio), Josh (Jenny), Chelsea (Wesley), Chad (Jannel), Marcus, and Thomas.

Adored great-grandmother of Noemi, Angelo and Leona.

Predeceased by her parents Carlos and Natalina (née Tainha) Rocha.

Maria Cecilia will be missed by her family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, ON, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A service will be celebrated in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
