Obituary of Ginette Brisson

C’est avec une tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Mme. Ginette Brisson, décédée le 1 janvier 2026 à l'âge de 83 ans.

Épouse bien-aimée de feu Bernard Brisson.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Sophie (Emmanuel Dalmenesche), Mario, Etienne, Edith (Brian Duhamel), Marie-Josée (Daniel Lefebvre) et Dominique, ses petits-enfants; Julien Brisson (Yeferson Velez Agudelo), Jasmin Brisson, Brigitte Duhamel (Mikaël Grenier), David Lefebvre, Monica Lefebvre, Catherine Salinas (Andrew Kryshak), Izzy Salinas et Amber Giddings, son arrière-petit-fils; Anthony Brisson, son frère; Yvon Brisson (Josée Bernier), sa sœur; Jocelyne Brisson (Pierre Latrémouille), son beau-frère; Edgar Brisson (Francine Ménard), ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux, cousins, cousines, membres de famille et ami(e)s.

Prédécédée par ses parents Hector P. et Aldéa (née Vinette) Brisson.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler à l’église St-Jacques d’Embrun le mercredi 14 janvier 2026, de 10h à 11h. Un service religieux sera célébré à 11h.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard Brisson.

Loving mother of Sophie (Emmanuel Dalmenesche), Mario, Etienne, Edith (Brian Duhamel), Marie-Josée (Daniel Lefebvre) and Dominique.

Cherished grandmother of Julien Brisson (Yeferson Velez Agudelo), Jasmin Brisson, Brigitte Duhamel (Mikaël Grenier), David Lefebvre, Monica Lefebvre, Catherine Salinas (Andrew Kryshak), Izzy Salinas and Amber Giddings.

Adored great-grandmother of Anthony Brisson.

Dear sister of Yvon Brisson (Josée Bernier) and Jocelyne Brisson (Pierre Latrémouille).

Ginette will be missed by her brother-in-law Edgar Brisson (Francine Ménard), her many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Hector P. and Aldéa (née Vinette) Brisson.

Family and friends are invited to gather at St-Jacques Church in Embrun, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A religious service will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
