Obituary of Omer Harmas Bourdeau

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Omer Bourdeau, décédé le 30 novembre 2025, à l'âge de 95 ans. 

Époux bien-aimé de Madeleine Bourdeau (née Richer). 

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Diane (Marc Ladouceur), Francine (Pierre Delorme), Richard (Linda Jones), Jackie (Pierre Desforges), Denis (Cindy) et Cathy (Steve Harris), ses petits-enfants; Annick (Louis), Christine (James), Tanya (Sean), Siobhan, Shannon (Casey), Stéphanie (Mathieu), Philippe (Katie), Éric, Benoit (Amélie), Mathieu (Linda), Joshua, Charles, Danielle et Ryan, ses seize arrière-petits-enfants, ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, nièces et neveux. 

Prédécédé par ses parents Wilfrid et Alda (née Blanchard), plusieurs frères et sœurs et sa fille Debbie (feu Mike Richard). 

La famille tient à remercier chaleureusement tout le personnel du Manoir Rockland pour tous les soins exceptionnels et de leurs compassions prodigués à Omer. 

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler à l'église St-Jacques d'Embrun le mercredi 10 décembre 2025, de 10h à 11h. Un service religieux sera célébré à 11h.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Omer Bourdeau, who passed on November 30, 2025, at the age of 95. 

Beloved husband of Madeleine Bourdeau (née Richer). 

Loving father of Diane (Marc Ladouceur), Francine (Pierre Delorme), Richard (Linda Jones), Jackie (Pierre Desforges), Denis (Cindy) and Cathy (Steve Harris). 

Cherished grandfather of Annick (Louis), Christine (James), Tanya (Sean), Siobhan, Shannon (Casey), Stéphanie (Mathieu), Philippe (Katie), Éric, Benoit (Amélie), Mathieu (Linda), Joshua, Charles, Danielle, Ryan and great-grandfather of sixteen. 

Omer will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Alda (née Blanchard), many brothers and sisters as well as by his daughter Debbie (late Mike Richard). 

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all the exceptional staff at Rockland Manor for all the outstanding and compassionate care provided to Omer. 

Family and friends are invited to gather at St-Jacques Church in Embrun, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A religious service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
