Sincere condolences to Andrée, kids, and the family. Sly was a great colleague who worked with Karen and I, and although we hadn’t seen him since before Covid, we’re very saddened to hear this news. Another great guy gone too soon. He will be missed. Take care. Chris & Karen.

My sincere condolences to the Lambert family. Working with Sly was a pleasure. He was a wealth of knowledge and an amazing resource that could always be relied on. I worked with Sly both in uniform and as a public servant. He is greatly missed.

To the Family of Sylvain Paul Lambert,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Sylvain; or as we called him, Sly.
Sly and I had the honour of serving together more than once during our time in the Canadian Armed Forces. I knew him as a man of professionalism, unwavering integrity, and a dry wit that could lighten even the hardest days. He led by example and never asked more of others than he was willing to give himself; a rare quality in any walk of life.
He was a soldier, yes, but more than that, he was a truly decent human being; the kind who left things better than he found them and people stronger for having known him. I feel privileged to have shared time, stories, and service with him.
To Andrée and all of Sly’s family, please know that his legacy of strength, honour, and love will live on in the many lives he touched. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Pete Hillier
