It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Gian-Paolo Bastianello on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 78.

Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy Bastianello (née Laurin).

Loving father of Natalie Bastianello-Lamoureux (Daniel Lamoureux) and Daniele Bastianello (Tchee Ly).

Proud grandfather of Zenia Lamoureux, Maxim Bastianello and Sofia Bastianello.

Predeased by his parents Palmiro and Marina (née Penzo) Bastianello; and by his sister Daniela Bastianello in Nardin.

Gian-Paolo will be dearly missed by his nephew Gerald Laurin (Leanne) and their 3 children: Ryan Laurin, Alicia Laurin (his godchild) and Chloe Laurin; as well as his extended family in Italy.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 709 Principale St., Casselman, ON K0A 1M0, (613) 764-3286 on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10 – 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. A reception will follow. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
