Obituary of Aline Rozon

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Mme Aline Rozon (née Martel), survenu le 7 avril 2025 à l’hôpital général d’Ottawa entourée de sa famille, à l'âge de 85 ans.

Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de feu René Rozon.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses filles qu’elle a tant aimées, Ginette (Marc Bertrand), Jeannine (Gilles Marion) et Lise (Germain Cadieux).

Ses petits-enfants, qu’elle chérissait tendrement, Martin (Roxanne), Renée (Julien), Suzie (Félix) et Mélissa (Dereck).

Ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants qu’elle a adorés, Jacob, Félix, Rose, Chanel, William, Makenzie, Xavier, Eva, Magalie et Maya.

Elle était la sœur de feu Desneiges (Edgar Amyot), Maurice (feu Monique Meilleur), feu Robert (feu Thérèse Amyot), Claire (feu Maurice Rozon), Fernand (Louise Gravelle) et Pauline (feu Marcel Desnoyers).

Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses belles-sœurs et beaux-frères Hélène (feu Fernand Gagnon), feu Maurice (Claire Martel), Jeanne (feu John Smith), Denise (Gabriel Lavictoire) et Gilles Rozon (Yvonne Legue).

Elle était la marraine de Carole Rozon Dion et feu Denis Amyot.

Ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux, cousin(e)s, et ami(e)s.

Prédécédée par ses parents David Martel et Laurette Beaudin, et par ses beaux-parents Hervé Rozon et Valentine Sanche.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se réunir à l’église St-Jacques d’Embrun, le samedi 24 mai 2025 de 10h à 11h. Un service religieux y sera célébré à 11h. Suivi de l’inhumation au cimetière Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, à Russell.

She was the beloved wife of the late René Rozon.

Loving mother of Ginette (Marc Bertrand), Jeannine (Gilles Marion) and Lise (Germain Cadieux).

Cherished grandmother of Martin (Roxanne), Renée (Julien), Suzie (Félix) and Mélissa (Dereck).

Adored great-grandmother of Jacob, Félix, Rose, Chanel, William, Makenzie, Xavier, Eva, Magalie and Maya.

Dear sister of the late Desneiges (Edgar Amyot), Maurice (late Monique Meilleur), late Robert (late Thérèse Amyot), Claire (late Maurice Rozon), Fernand (Louise Gravelle) and Pauline (late Marcel Desnoyers).

Sister-in law of Hélène (late Fernand Gagnon), late Maurice (Claire Martel), Jeanne (late John Smith), Denise (Gabriel Lavictoire) and Gilles Rozon (Yvonne Legue).

Her godchildren Carole Rozon Dion and the late Denis Amyot.

Aline will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by her parents David Martel and Laurette Beaudin, and by her in-laws Hervé Rozon and Valentine Sanche.

Family and friends are invited to gather at St-Jacques Church in Embrun, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A religious service will be celebrated at 11 a.m., followed by the interment at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Cemetery, Russell, ON. 

Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation or to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
